Central Government sanctions additional allocation of food grains (Wheat & Rice) at BPL rate for distribution to Welfare Institutions in the State at 15 Kg per inmate per month,. Accordingly food grains are distributed as per the guidelines of GR of this department dated 26.4.2002. The procedure to be followed for issuing Establishment Ration Cards, has been mentioned at Para No.4 of GR dated 26.4.2002. Under the said scheme per month per cardholders within limit of the received allocation.

      The GOI has sanctioned the monthly allocation of 2738.63 MT foodgrains (Rice) & 4107.95 MT foodgrains (wheat)for April, 2018 to September, 2018 vide its letter dated 18.06.2018. The allocations received from GOI have been sanctioned to the District authorities vide letter dated 30.06.2018 for 4,56,439 beneficiaries in 4775 institutions.

      The GOI has sanctioned the monthly allocation of 5601.449 MT foodgrains (Rice) & 10410.016 MT foodgrains (wheat) for Oct, 2018 to March, 2019 from previous unspent balance vide its letter dated 14.03.2018. The GOI has instructed to allocate foodgrains to Only government owned / run Hostel and Institutions. Accordingly, instructions have been issued to all concerned regarding the distribution of Half Yearly foodgrains by the letter dated 29.03.2019.
