The Government has taken decision to set up "State Consumer Helpline" based on the pattern of National Consumers’ Helpline. This Helpline will give information / consultation and guidance to the Consumer on the toll free Telephone Numbers. The Service of the helpline is available in Marathi, English and Hindi languages. Central Government has accorded sanctioned of Rs.27.60 Lakhs(Rs.16.25 Lakhs non- recurring and Rs. 11.35 lakhs recurring) .The Government has selected Consumers Guidance Society of India, Mumbai to set up the Helpline. The Helpline has started functioning from 15 th sept. 2011 . Tollfree number of helpline is 1800 22 2262.
