The Central Government has started a 100% centrally sponsored scheme of Consumer Clubs. As per this scheme Central Government has sanctioned financial assistance to establish consumer clubs in the schools to educate childrens about the rights of the consumers. In year 2010-11.Government has sanctioned Rs 50 Lakhs for 22 VCO to established 500 Consumers Clubs in the State.
