Grievance Redressal Mechanism
      State Government has to establish the Grievance Redressal System under the Chapter 5 of NFSA Act, 2013, to provide faster and effective relief to complaints regarding deprivation of food grains or meal entitled to beneficiaries. State has appointed District Grievance Redressal Officer in every district as per the Section-15 of this Act. Also the State Food Commission has been set up as per the Section-16(1).

District Grievance Redressal Officer (DGRO)(Notification)
    The Additional collectors are appointed as a District Grievance Redressal Officer in Mumbai-Thane Rationing area for Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban and Thane districts in the respect of their purview. The Additional Collectors which are not related to NFSA are appointed as DGRO in the remaining districts.

      District Grievance Redressal Officer Contacts

State Food Commission (SFC)(Notification)
  State has constituted SFC as per Section 16(1), for the purpose of monitoring and review of implementation of the Act. It will perform all duties defined in Section 16(6).(Work Allotment GR dated-14.8.2017S)
